Mobile Library The Library Van will be at the Village Hall Car Park in July and August on the following dates between 9:15 to 10:00am: August 14th and the 28th The Library Van will be based every Saturday morning in Morrisons car park from 11:15am to 1.00pm. Please note that the next stop after Kington Langley is Kington St. Michael near the old Post Office. To assist users of the Mobile Library who may not be able to make the time it is in the village, from here it goes to: Kings Lodge Farm –
Nursery School – 10.10 to 10.30am The use of the Mobile Library is increasing and Steve Taylor, the Mobile Library Manager, has asked me to repeat the following information: ‘There are no fines for late return of any books borrowed from the Mobile Library’ – which helps no end.
Village Hall & Playing Field Skittles Just to remind you that the Autumn Skittles will take place in the Village Hall on Friday the 14th November at 7.30pm. Teams welcome from Organizations who use the Hall or Playing Field plus Family, Street or School Teams or any other Village Organization.
Scarecrow Festival: 2009! The date is already scheduled – the same weekend as this year: May 16th & 17th 2009 The theme, previously chosen by villagers, will be: Holidays If you have any ideas that you would like to throw into the melting pot for any part of the event, or would like to join the happy scarecrow team, please let us know!
