MATTERS ARISING

Minute 85.05 – Plaque for the late Mr. John Oatley (Reference Minute 63.05; Minute 69.05 and Minute 76.05) Cllr. Dennis Gill said that the Village Hall Committee did not support this proposal as Mr. Oatley in particular had not been involved with the Village Hall therefore unless a plaque was erected with all past Parish Council chairman on it, it would not be appropriate in this case. Cllr. Peter Hart asked whether councillors could consider what might be appropriate instead, and discuss with other sections of the village.

Minute 87.05 (b) Cllr. Jill Saunders pointed out that the Byelaws had not yet been circulated. The Clerk agreed to do so before the next meeting.
