PLANNING

(a)    Planning Issues & Consents Granted:

Planning Issues:

1. The Chairman advised councillors that he had attended a meeting with the owners of the ex-picnic site to the west of the traffic lights on the A350. A proposal for a Christian Meeting Hall on this site has previously been rejected by North Wiltshire District Council. The owners are again considering applying to develop this site having taken due notice of the points raised by the Planning Inspectorate and are consulting locally.

2. It is believed that the number of caravans at Christian Piece site appears to have risen again. It was agreed that the Clerk should request North Wiltshire District Council Planning Office Enforcement Officer visit the site and determine if agreed limits are being observed.
