Kington Langley
Wine Appreciation Society
The Society is up and running!
Our first course of tasting evenings is arranged and anyone who is
interested is invited to become a member. You need no prior
knowledge of wines. We will start with basics to help us discern
the differences between grape varieties and the New and Old Worlds
of wine. We will then move on to examine styles and regional
specialities.
There will be two or three
courses a year, with some special events around Christmas and
summer. Most of the guest speakers will be independent wine
merchants or importers, who will share with us their knowledge and
enthusiasm for wine.
The first course of wine
tasting meetings will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm in
